Job Description
Nonprofit organizations are currently hiring Career Development Specialist Apprentices to help vulnerable and “At-Risk” using modern job hunt methods and advanced career development strategies. We provide the systems. We provide the tools. We provide the training. You coach. You facilitate. So, whether you’re a recent graduate or looking to transition into a new field, If you love helping people, then this just might be what you’ve been looking for.
Location: Remote (Anywhere)
Since 2009, our goal here at Digital Advocates was to have 100% of our team members be able to work remotely. We believe that we can make a greater impact in the world, by allowing our teams to work from anywhere in the world.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Build and nurture relationships with local businesses via professional social media networks.
- Identify federal and state programs that provide tax incentives and grants for businesses owners
- Work with decision-makers to create career opportunities for people in vulnerable and “At-Risk” communities.
- Create training programs to prepare candidates for career opportunities created with our Hiring Partners.
- Work with of Career Development Specialist and recruiters to source candidates for career opportunities
Compensation
- Competitive salary (we don’t use remote as an excuse to pay less)
