3 Problems Facing 90% of the Job Hunters that’s Killing their Chances to Succeed…and why 80% of U.S. Workers are Unhappy
When I look at the job market today, I see 3 problems facing 90% of the job hunters today that’s killing their chances to succeed:
They Position Themselves as a Generalist
The first problem is that most job hunters position themselves in the job market as generalists.
They don’t have a specialization and can’t define the value they can bring to an employer.
They are generalists competing for jobs that hundreds, if not THOUSANDS of other generalists are applying for. This allows companies to essentially pit them against each other to determine who is the most qualified candidate is that is willing to work for the least amount of money.
Don’t position yourself as a commodity.
If you want to succeed in today’s job market, you MUST have a specialization!
They Don’t have a Predictable Why to Get PREMIUM Job Interviews
The Second problem is that Job Hunters don’t have a predictable way of getting premium Job Interviews.
Instead they rely ENTIRELY on a hope and a prayer.
I’m sure you know the drill.
You spend hours tweaking your resume, making sure you have the right font and the perfect format to highlight all your skills, experience and achievements to show an employer.
Once you feel that it’s perfect, you use the Spray and Pray method and begin submitting your resume to apply to job opportunities via job boards, send it out to any recruiter you may be working with and for good measure.. all your friends, family and past co-workers.
Then, you get down on your knees. Hope and pray to God that the phone rings and somebody will contact you for an interview.
They use a strategy, that’s about as effective as trying to hit a bullseye with a blindfold on and rely on blind luck for their own future as well as the future of their family.
If you want to succeed in today’s job market you MUST have a predictable and PROVEN method to generate PREMIUM job interviews on-demand.
They Don’t have a Predictable Way to Conduct Interview to Get Job Offers
The third problem is that job hunters don’t have a predictable way to conduct interviews to get job offers.
Most job hunters change their approach with every interview they have with a potential employer, because they don’t have any control of the interview process.
Every single interview they operate “off the cuff” and say something new with little regard to what has and hasn’t worked in the past. They have no idea how many interviews they need to get a job offer…and once again, they place their future and families destiny in the hands of fate.
If you want to Land Your Dream Job and Get Paid what you’re worth, you must have a PROVEN rinse and repeat process to conduct interviews and get job offers.
Are you making any of these three mistakes?
The truth is that if you are making just one of these mistakes, according to the Bureau of Labor and Statistics, it will take you a minimum of 6-months to land job. And for 78% of the U.S. workers who live paycheck to paycheck… that would totally wipe them out.
Millions are struggling to Survive and it’s not their fault…
Our well meaning friends, family and even career counselors are giving us outdated advice that may have worked over 10 years ago…But in today’s job market, that advice will only put you back in a similar position you as a commodity at a company where you’re going to be miserable. A place where you’re going to be undervalued, underappreciated and more than likely…underpaid.
The Good News…It doesn’t have to be this way.
